An early foray into an ongoing interest in bath towels, this piece takes shape as a hardened towel, fixed in a state of swelling, growing or rising. The ambiguous stiffness and wetness draw us into feeling of abjection, meanwhile the towel is animated and autonomous, a departure from its usual overlooked position.
